Sorting Social is a product research tool for Etsy, print on demand and ecommerce sellers. If those sellers read, watch or learn from you, you can join the affiliate program, share a referral link, and receive a commission on the payments your referrals make.
The commission is 90% of each payment a customer you referred makes through January 6, 2027, then 60% after that.
Free to join. You do not need a paid plan.
The terms in brief

- Commission applies to every subscription payment, renewals included, for as long as the customer stays subscribed.

- Payouts
- Monthly by PayPal once your approved balance reaches $50. Each commission is held for 30 days before it is approved.

Fill in the join form in the app and confirm your email. Your referral link is ready as soon as you confirm.

Share your link
Use it in reviews, videos, newsletters or courses, and tell your audience you receive a commission. A signup within 90 days of a click is credited to you.

Commissions are reviewed
Each commission is held for 30 days to cover the refund window, then reviewed and approved.

Monthly payouts
Approved commissions are paid by PayPal once a month, when your approved balance is at least $50. Smaller balances roll over to the next month.
After you join, your referral link and your affiliate report (clicks, signups, commissions and payouts) are in the app, where you can also set your PayPal email.
A free Pro account for approved affiliates
After you join, we look at the website, channel or profile you shared. If we approve it, your Sorting Social account gets Pro features at no charge for as long as you are active in the program, so you can use the full tool in your tutorials, reviews and demos.
Free Pro is at our discretion, has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Ground rules
- Tell your audience clearly that you receive a commission from your link.
- No income claims, no fake reviews, and nothing about Sorting Social that is not true.
- No spam: no unsolicited email, texts, comments or direct messages promoting your link.
- No referring yourself or buying through your own link.
- No bidding on “Sorting Social” in paid search, and no ads that look like they come from us.
- No cookie stuffing, forced clicks, bots or other ways of creating clicks a real person did not choose.
- No cash back or rebates from your commission without our written OK.

Questions, answered
What is the commission?
90% of every referred payment made during the program’s first 90 days, from October 9, 2026 through January 6, 2027 (US Eastern time). Every referred payment after that is 60%. The date a payment goes through decides its rate, including renewals of customers you referred earlier.
Does it apply to renewals?
Yes. Commission applies to every monthly or yearly renewal for as long as the customer stays subscribed.
What is the commission based on?
The amount the customer actually paid, minus the card processing fee Stripe charges us and minus any refund. If a payment is refunded or disputed, its commission is reduced or reversed.
Who counts as my referral?
Someone who clicks your link and creates a Sorting Social account within 90 days. A free user who has never paid also becomes your referral if they upgrade within 90 days of clicking your link. Existing and past paying customers cannot be referred. If a person clicks links from more than one affiliate, the last link clicked before they sign up is the one that counts.
How long does the tracking last?
90 days from the click. Tracking depends on a cookie, so a signup cannot be credited if the cookie was blocked or deleted.
When and how are commissions paid?
By PayPal, once a month. Each commission is held for 30 days to cover the refund window, then reviewed and approved. Payouts go out when your approved balance is at least $50, and smaller balances roll over to the next month.
Do I have to be approved before I can start?
No. Your referral link works as soon as you confirm your email. The review that happens after you join is for the free Pro account.
Do I get a free Pro account?
If we approve it. After you join, we look at the website, channel or profile you shared. Approved affiliates get Pro features at no charge for as long as they are active in the program. It is at our discretion, has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Joining is free and you do not need a paid Sorting Social plan.
Can the terms change?
We may change the terms or the commission rates for future payments, and we email affiliates first about material changes. A commission keeps the rate that applied on the date of its payment. You can leave the program at any time.

Join the affiliate program
The join form is in the app. It asks for your name and email, and you confirm with a link and code we email you. No password needed.
